The Merlin Kaplan Air Mesh Explorer Motorcycle Gloves are made from an air mesh material with a textile topside. They come with a goat leather palm and knuckle panels. Goat leather is tougher than the standard leather that is found on most motorcycle gloves and is also light-weight and water resistant. They also have grip overlayed palm panels.

These gloves come with many added features. The tips of the index finger and the thumb come with digital touch tips which allow for the wearer to be able to use their smart phone even with the gloves on to avoid the need to remove the gloves. The punched leather which was mentioned before allows for improved breathability. These gloves also come with an accordion stretch panel which allows the hands and wrists to move freely without any discomfort. These gloves feature a mid length cuff with a single Velcro cuff/wrist restraint system.

These gloves come with a high density padded knuckle protection and are certified to CE EN13594 Level 1.
