With three pre-set power modes, the top speed can be restricted depending on the rider's ability. So those new to two wheels, can start with the training mode setting before unlocking more speed as they hone their skills and start to GET ON THE GAS!

That's why, with a low seat height of 43cm, the MC-E 1.16 ensures youngsters from the age of five (with an inside leg of 45cm) can reach the ground. For those just starting out, this is even more important as being able to take a steadying dab is a vital part of learning to balance and to keep on moving forwards. The seat height is adjustable as well so as riders grow it can be raised easily.
Three ride modes allow for safe progression with maximum speeds to suit each rider. For those completely new to two wheels, the training mode's 8km/h top speed limit keeps things steady while the transitional mode moves the restriction up a notch to 12km/h. But when riders are ready to really pick up the pace, the advanced mode allows for an eye-watering (for kids at least) 21 km/h!
