What was the Harley Davidson in Terminator 2?
In the 1991 James Cameron sequel Terminator 2: Judgement Day, Arnold Schwarzenegger was iconic as a Terminator. Part of the Terminator’s iconic appeal was the motorcycle he rode, having procured it from a biker bar. The bike in question was a Harley-Davidson Fat Boy. In one of the movie’s most famous scenes, Schwarzenegger later rode the Fat Boy down the LA River to help a young John Connor escape. The actual motorcycle, ridden by Schwarzenegger himself in the movie, was sold at auction in 2018 for $480,000. At the time of sale, it had just 392 miles on the clock. The Harley-Davidson Fat Boy is still just as iconic now.
