Caps, Beanies & Headwear

Caps, beanies, bandanas and neck tubes from Harley-Davidson, Biltwell, ROEG, Royal Enfield and KTM, plus a handful of gift sets. Nearly all of it is one size. Most of it is off-the-bike wear, or something to go under a helmet on a warm day. It is not riding kit.

Forty-eight listings in four groups: caps, knitted beanies, cotton bandanas and the ROEG neck tubes. Harley-Davidson accounts for twenty-five of them, Biltwell ten, ROEG nine, Royal Enfield three and KTM one. If you only want one make, the brand filter narrows it down.

Sizes

Forty-five of the forty-eight are sold as a single option, which is what beanies, snapbacks, stretch-fit caps and bandanas usually are. Three are not. The two Harley-Davidson woven hats are sized, one in S and L, the other in S, M and L. The Flying Lap distressed cap appears twice: the Grape Leaf colour offers a medium or a large, the black one is a single option. It is the same cap, but only one of the two listings gives you a size choice.

Fabric

Thirteen listings are acrylic or an acrylic blend, and most of those are the Harley-Davidson knitwear. Biltwell's Goods and Anvil beanies are 97% recycled polyester, and its Shock is a microfleece Biltwell aim at cold-weather riders. Harley-Davidson's Whirlwind hat is 100% wool and its Bar & Shield snapback is Polartec fleece. For summer, ROEG's Texas Flatpanel has mesh sides and back, its Tuscon Trucker has ventilated sides, and Biltwell's Ridgecrest is a seven-panel hat with a mesh back. The one KTM listing, the Replica Team Curved Cap, is 100% cotton and one size, described as "designed exclusively for KTM by New Era" and carrying "the iconic Red Bull KTM logo on the front" with "orange rear panels".

Bandanas and neck tubes

There are five bandanas, three of them Harley-Davidson Eagle Rider colours. Harley-Davidson's own wording says what one is for on a bike: "practically sized to protect your scalp from the sun, soak up sweat, and provide a cushion under your helmet", and it gives the size as "traditionally sized at 22″ x 22″". Biltwell's Pan bandana names its colour and its maker and stops there. The five ROEG tunnels all carry the same line, a seamless tube that can be worn as a "balaclava, face mask, beanie, neck warmer or headband".

Five listings are sets rather than single items: two beanie and scarf sets, a beanie and glove set, a knit hat and glove set, and an ear warmer with fingerless glove covers. Worth knowing if you are buying one as a present.

Eight of the forty-eight tell you almost nothing. Two Biltwell caps and that bandana, two Royal Enfield caps, the Forever Harley beanie and the two woven hats carry no description beyond a name, a part number and, in two cases, the sizes. On those, the photograph is all you have got to go on. All forty-eight are for sale with free UK delivery available, and twenty of them show a was-price at 10% off RRP; the other twenty-eight carry a single price. The hoodies and sweatshirts are on their own page.
