SW-Motech build luggage and protection hardware for a specific bike rather than for motorcycles in general. That is the whole idea: a carrier is drilled for one subframe, a crash bar is bent around one engine, and the result bolts on without straps, spacers or improvisation. It is why the range runs to thousands of part numbers instead of a dozen.

Every product page then lists the models it is confirmed for, taken from the manufacturer's own fitment data — if your bike is not on that list, the part is not confirmed for it, and the manufacturer part number on each page lets you check against anything already on the shelf.
Finding your way round the range
The names describe the system rather than the product, which is confusing until someone explains it once.
- SLC and V-LOC are the side carriers — the frames that bolt to the bike. Almost everything else hangs off one of these, and they are sold as single left or right sides as often as pairs.
- Legend Gear is the retro-styled luggage: side bags and tail bags aimed at modern classics and roadsters rather than adventure bikes.
- TRAX and URBAN ABS are the hard cases — aluminium and moulded respectively, lockable, for touring and commuting.
- SysBag and Blaze are the soft luggage systems: lighter, cheaper to replace, and they take a knock without denting.
- PRO and ION are the tank bag families. Both mount on a tank ring that bolts around your filler cap, so the bag lifts off in one movement — and the ring is model-specific.
What people get wrong
Racks are the part most often bought twice. They are the most model-specific item in any luggage setup, and a subframe or exhaust that has been changed will stop the right part fitting. Check the fitment list and the part number before ordering, not after.
Panniers usually need a carrier as well as the bag, and the two are listed separately. Tank bags usually need a ring. If a listing looks cheaper than you expected, check whether the mount is included.
